Refreshing MINI's Used Approved Cars platform
Like most major car brands, MINI provides a secure platform that assists people with finding second-hand cars from dealerships across the land. I was tasked with redesigning this website in line with MINI's digital brand book to create a more effective and user-friendly service.
MINI have a set of comprehensive digital brand guidelines, but they don't have a solid collection of components or templates for building out projects with. Subsequently, they lack a design system library of any sort.
As part of this project, I not only set about creating new components and templates for each page on the website, but I also implemented a new design library to house all UI elements in one place.
The new site feels much fresher and simpler to navigate. Whereas before it felt rather clunky and unintuitive, finding a second-hand MINI is ultimately much easier now.
Much of this ease is down to the revamped navigation system and filters that the EP Team at Dare worked so hard on refining.
